What modifications, if any, did you make to the design described in the Build Manual?
I enlarged the cockpit slightly and reduced the height of the foredeck by a centimetre.
What is the weight of the finished kayak?
I also used carbon/kevlar for the outside and glass for the inside. True, the boat gained weight (± 25 kg) but it’s extremely stiff and strong

How does the kayak perform on the water?
Paddling the boat is an absolute joy, it tracks very well, even in windy circumstances, but is really responsive to edging. And it rolls like nothing. Since I’ve finished the Shrike I haven’t touched my Nordkapp anymore.
