Claus and his son Theodor from Denmark built this standard Shrike. They chose a cockpit shape that is aesthetically pleasing to them and that also fits their existing spray decks. They say that she paddles “like a dream” and “we had great fun building it.” Claus concluded by saying: “We’re really thankful for the drawings. I think you’ve created a wonderful kayak which is probably as easy as it gets to build.”
