Five Shrikes were built as a part of an Innovation course, they were experimenting with the use of cork and epoxy as a composite material. The builders were: Fou Pose, Silvia Rivas and Maria Jose Suarez.

The model is “Shrike”
What modifications, if any, did you make to the design described in the build manual?
In a couple of kayaks we made the cockpit conming a little bigger (by mistake of the numerical control).
What is the weight of the finished kayak?
The approximate weight is between 20 and 23 kilograms (without rudder system)
How does the kayak perform on the water?
I like it a lot (it’s the best I have), and it fits very well to the Galician coast.
