What modifications, if any, did you make to the design described in the build manual?
I increased the deck height by 2 lines on the Shrike-R plans, so about an inch.
I added 2 deck beams,one before the masik and the second behind the cockpit.
What is the weight of the finished kayak?
It weighs 36 lbs, if you can trust a bathroom scale.
How does the kayak perform on the water?
I launched it in July 2016 and it paddles great,tracks beautifully and with the addition some foam also rolls like a dream.
