What Shrike model did you choose?
Shrike-R Kit from Clear Stream Kit. This is my first attempt at woodworking.
What modifications, if any, did you make to the design described in the build manual?
Raised Masik height to 9.5″ and made cockpit 1 inch longer.
Reinforced area behind cockpit.
What is the weight of the finished kayak?
36 lbs
How does the kayak perform on the water?
Love the way the kayak rolls and am still working on finding out how little effort it takes to roll the Shrike R.
The kayak has a great glide and is super responsive to side slipping.
