Ben from Australia

During the build I used three pieces of ply for the top deck.   A small triangle at the bow.  Then a long deck piece which joined the back piece just two inches from the back of the combing.  This way I hid the main top join under the combing.   Produces a nice clean deck line with that beautiful transition from the flat bow to the rounded hull.  (No big join in front of the combing.

I used a slightly thicker fibreglass and also built the combing up with laminated ply.  Thus the boat is very strong and also beautiful to look at.
